Sample Doctrinal Issues Which We Allowed To Separate Us

Baptism,
Communion,
Leadership, and
Worship.

How This Helps Us Follow Jesus

We now can follow actual "thus saith the Lord" quotes, instead of possible quotes.

We can also define "sin" and "covenant" Scripturally, versus our mangled views of them.

This gives us a more objective measure which all of our Congregations can agree to and uphold.

It allows us opportunities to become Christ's hands and feet in our communities, yet in differing ways.

Welcome to our site teaching about the
Matthew 28 Approach to Scripture

Thanks for stopping in, especially since this is a cooperative venture for all Restoration Movement Churches.  This is an introduction to the doctrinal corrections being made by our Churches in the RM worldwide.  This is creating a new sense of unity and cooperation based in the Scriptures Themselves, rather than the unity format we have used for 200+ years which was based on a "new hermeneutic" (a new manner of handling God's Word, the Bible; a new interpretation of It) proposed by John Calvin.  In rejecting Calvin's theory and obeying Jesus, we are finding a deeper identity as a people of God, saved by His grace through His Son's blood and our faithful obedience.

Welcome to the Brotherhood:

Restoration Churches have long sought to "restore" the essence of New Testament Christianity by seeking God's "prescription" for the Church.  While much has been found that other denominational groups had long ago abandoned yet should not have, many traditions were also held to in the process.  And since we often could not agree with all our Churches what was "prescription" or "command" instead of tradition or even mere description, we have often separated, and some still insist we cannot be united even within our own ranks, despite our Churches starting out with a goal of unity among fellow believers!

And so God, the dear Father that He is, having made brothers of many differing souls in trying to make a Family of God Which reflected His Unity / Oneness in Trinity brought together a broad spectrum of believers.  And we refused to see that as good. so He allowed us to separate.  We were a self-proclaimed "unity movement" that was so proud it could not even keep itself together.  It is our prayer that we have been sufficiently humbled, and can now actually learn from our Master how to obey Him, His way.
